After the "absolute nullity" decision in CHP, the access of Özgür Özel's administration to the party's bank accounts has been frozen. It has been announced that the management of the accounts will be transferred to Kılıçdaroğlu's team.
New developments are taking place in the process regarding the party administration following the “absolute nullity” decision in the CHP. With the decision of the Ankara 36th Regional Court of Appeal, the CHP’s 38th Ordinary Convention held on November 4-5, 2023 was annulled, and it was decided that former General Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu would return to duty.
NOTIFICATION MADE TO KILIÇDAROĞLU
After the decision was uploaded to the UYAP system, notification was made to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu by officials of the Ankara 3rd General Enforcement Office. Following the process, new practices regarding the party administration were put into effect.
ACCOUNTS TO BE TRANSFERRED TO KILIÇDAROĞLU AND HIS TEAM
According to the news in Sözcü; upon the request of the lawyers of former Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Lütfi Savaş, who is among the parties that filed the “absolute nullity” lawsuit, access to the bank accounts used by the CHP by the Özgür Özel administration was frozen.
It was stated that the control of the accounts, through which approximately 1.5 billion TL of Treasury aid is managed within the scope of the party’s 2026 budget, will be transferred to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his team.
