US President Donald Trump announced that no new military attack would be launched on Iran today or in the near future. However, Trump, who continued his threats against Tehran, stated that they would either make a deal with Iran or destroy the country militarily, saying, 'Should I make a deal with them, or should I eliminate them? That is the only question.' Claiming that control of the Strait of Hormuz is entirely with the US, Trump said that the naval blockade against Iran is also continuing.
US President Donald Trump, in an interview with Fox News ahead of the congressional midterm elections to be held on November 3, made assessments regarding the war with Iran. Trump, who stated that they were not planning a new attack on Tehran, also gave the Iranian administration an ultimatum on a deal.
“THERE WILL BE NO ATTACK ON IRAN, NO OPERATION IN THE NEAR FUTURE”
Trump, arguing that they had achieved everything they wanted in the war with Iran, claimed that they had "destroyed" Tehran's capacity, especially militarily and economically.
Adding a new one to his ultimatums toward Iran, Trump said, "Should I make a deal with them, or should I eliminate them? That is the only question."
To a question about whether attacks on Iran would resume today, Trump replied, "There will be no attack on Iran today. There is no operation against Tehran in the near future."
MESSAGE ON THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ
The US president, arguing that control of the Strait of Hormuz is entirely with the US, claimed that they had ensured oil passage through the Strait at pre-war levels.
"Remember, we now control the Strait of Hormuz. They achieve nothing; we get everything," said Trump, stating that the naval blockade against Iran was also continuing very effectively.
HE LINKED THE EVENTS IN FRANCE TO IMMIGRANTS
On the other hand, US President Trump argued that the main cause of the events in France was not education or the economy, but "immigrants" and "border security."
Trump, who claimed that he had advised French President Emmanuel Macron long ago to close the borders, but that France did nothing on this matter, argued that today's events are an extension of this immigration problem.
The US President commented, "I completely closed the borders. You know that infiltration cases are at zero. No irregular migrants are coming anymore. Yet you are ruining France. You are letting people who hate your country enter."
CHIP ACCUSATION AGAINST TAIWAN
The US President also accused Taiwan of "stealing" the entire US semiconductor sector through "predatory pricing" in the high-tech and manufacturing industry.
Trump sent a message to Taiwan with the words, "They stole our chip business, all of it, because they produced and released chips at a ridiculous price."
