The Ankara Governorship granted permission for an investigation regarding 33 concerts organized by the Ankara Municipality. An investigation has been initiated against 9 employees of the municipality on the grounds of public damage allegations.

A new development has occurred regarding the examination conducted on some cultural and artistic events carried out by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality between 2021 and 2024.

The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality announced that the examination covering 130 concerts has been completed.

INVESTIGATION PERMISSION FOR 33 EVENTS

As a result of the examination, ABB stated that no irregularities were detected for 97 concerts, and the governor's office decided to grant investigation permission regarding the public damage claims for 33 concerts.

In a statement made by the municipality regarding the issue, it was stated, "We would like to emphasize that these events have been thoroughly examined in the routine audits of the Court of Accounts and inspections conducted by the Ministry of Interior, and no negative findings have been encountered."
