Nur Çakmak, 23, who lost her life when a water tank detached from a roof during a storm in Şanlıurfa fell onto a car, was buried in her hometown.
Nur Çakmak (23), who lost her life when a water tank connected to solar energy fell on her car during a storm in the Birecik district of Şanlıurfa, was laid to rest.
WATER TANK FELL ON THE CAR
The incident occurred in the Meydan neighborhood of Birecik district. Nur Çakmak, who lived in the rural Durak neighborhood and was preparing for the KPSS after completing her two-year dental technician training, pulled her car under a building with her brother Mustafa Çakmak to take shelter from the storm. At that moment, due to the strong wind, a water tank connected to solar energy on the building's roof fell onto the car. In the accident, Nur Çakmak died at the scene, while Mustafa Çakmak survived without injury.
LAID TO REST
After the autopsy procedures were completed, the body of Nur Çakmak was taken by her relatives to the Durak neighborhood of Birecik district. Following the funeral prayer held there, Çakmak's body was laid to rest amid tears.
