Following the detention of Ahbap Association President Haluk Levent as part of an ongoing investigation, attention has turned to Oğuzhan Uğur, who participated in relief efforts alongside him during the earthquake period. Breaking his silence, Uğur stated that the process must be conducted transparently, saying, "There are serious allegations against Haluk Levent that have been reflected in the public eye. We will of course follow the process moment by moment. Every penny must be accounted for."
The detention of Ahbap Association President and artist Haluk Levent, as part of an investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, has made a huge impact on the agenda. Oğuzhan Uğur, founder of Babala TV, who was frequently seen alongside Levent in aid organizations, especially during the earthquake disaster period, broke his silence following the events.
GRAVE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST HALUK LEVENT
There are quite serious allegations against Haluk Levent, who was detained within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. The investigation file includes charges of "violation of the Associations Law," "laundering of assets derived from crime (money laundering)," and "membership in an organization."

Reacting strongly to attempts to link himself and his platform Babala TV to the process, Oğuzhan Uğur emphasized his legal status and underlined that he does not collect donations. Also drawing attention to the erosion of social trust, Uğur concluded his remarks as follows:
"However, I also see those who jump from Haluk Levent's news and try to mess with me and BabalaTV. I can give them a brief piece of information. I am not an association or a foundation. Therefore, I cannot collect money or accept donations. All the aid I have provided so far has come from my own pocket. Being forced to write this already crushes my soul. But when I don't write it, things get twisted. Normal... This nation has built a tower out of disappointments for years. What we call 'trust' is now almost a nostalgic concept. I hope these news items do not add another piece to the top of that tower, pushing us one step further away from the feeling of trust. We are watching."
