New evidence has been included in the investigation file regarding the Ahbap Association. Within the scope of the investigation, it was claimed that the Ahbap Association acted as a guarantor on promissory notes totaling 3 million dollars, which were reportedly issued by Haluk Levent for a real estate purchase. It was also stated that a property transfer and some correspondence found in digital materials are being examined in the file, while it was learned that the investigation is being conducted under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
New allegations have been added to the file in the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Ahbap Association.
In the investigation file, it was alleged that Haluk Levent issued three separate promissory notes totaling $3 million for a real estate purchase. The notes were claimed to be for $250,000 dated January 15, $1.25 million dated February 15, and $1.25 million dated March 30.
In the file, it was alleged that Haluk Levent was listed as the "debtor" and the Ahbap Association as the "irrevocable" guarantor on the notes.
ALLEGATIONS RELATED TO REAL ESTATE
Within the scope of the investigation, it was claimed that a property registered under the name Arland was purchased under the name of Haluk Levent's assistant Yeliz Kaya, and the property was transferred to Esin Önder Çağlayan four days later. The file alleged that this transfer was carried out for the purpose of money laundering.
CORRESPONDENCE ADDED TO THE FILE
It was stated that in digital materials examined as part of the investigation, Haluk Levent was alleged to have instructed his assistant Yeliz Kaya to spread news to certain individuals that he "had stomach cancer and was seeking money."
In the file, it was also reported that concerns about the notes were conveyed to Levent, and Levent was alleged to have asked his assistant to send him a voice message crying.
INVESTIGATION CONTINUES
It was learned that examinations into the allegations added to the file are ongoing as part of the investigation coordinated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
