US-IRAN TENSIONS SEND OIL SOARING
The inconclusive outcome of peace talks between the US and Iran, along with the renewed possibility of war in the region, has caused a sharp rise in oil prices. In global markets, the price of Brent crude oil has exceeded the $100 per barrel level. The volatility in energy markets is beginning to directly reflect on fuel prices.
DIESEL EXPECTED TO SEE A 1 LIRA 10 KURUS HIKE
According to information obtained from industry sources, the liter price of diesel is expected to increase by 1 lira 10 kurus. The new prices are projected to be reflected at the pump starting tomorrow.
HERE ARE THE PRICES AFTER THE HIKE
Following the expected increase, the liter price of diesel is expected to rise to 67.35 lira in Istanbul, 68.48 lira in Ankara, and 68.75 lira in Izmir. In eastern provinces, the price is estimated to exceed 70 lira, reaching up to 70.21 lira.
