The decision regarding the free use of certain highways, bridges, and public transportation services between March 19-22 due to Ramadan Feast has been published in the Official Gazette.

With the Presidential Decision published in the Official Gazette, it has been decided that highway, bridge, and public transportation services will be free during the Ramadan Bayram holiday.

FREE HIGHWAYS AND BRIDGES

Within the scope of the decision, crossings on highways under the responsibility of the General Directorate of Highways (KGM) and the 15 July Martyrs and Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridges will be provided free of charge starting from 00:00 on Thursday, March 19, until midnight on Sunday, March 22.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT VEHICLES

In urban transportation, the free travel period will begin on Friday, March 20. In this context, citizens will be able to benefit from Marmaray, Başkentray, İZBAN, Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme, and Istanbul Airport metro lines, as well as all public transportation services belonging to municipalities free of charge until the end of Sunday, March 22.
