The nightmare of counterfeit alcohol continues in Istanbul. While 19 of the 65 people poisoned by fake alcohol have lost their lives, 46 others are still receiving treatment in hospitals. Three Turkmen workers, who are said to have worked and stayed at a bicycle factory located in the Hadımköy neighborhood of Arnavutköy district, fell ill due to counterfeit alcohol.

ONE WORKER HAS DIED

The ailing workers were first taken to a private hospital in Hadımköy neighborhood and then to Arnavutköy State Hospital. One of the workers, named Samat Tugalov, lost his life in the hospital, while the treatment of his two colleagues, who also worked at the same factory, continues.

TEAMS CONTINUE THEIR WORK

While the factory where the incident occurred continues its operations, police teams are still working on the points related to sales and production.
