Nafia Kuş Aydın, our national taekwondo athlete representing Turkey in the women's 67kg category at the Paris Olympic Games, won a bronze medal for our country by defeating her British opponent Rebecca McGowen 2-1. This brings our medal count in Paris to 8.

Our national taekwondo athlete Nafia Kuş Aydın, who represented our country in the women's 67 kg category at the Paris Olympic Games, defeated her British opponent Rebecca McGowen 2-1 and won another bronze medal for our country. Thus, our medal count in Paris has increased to 8.

THE ROAD TO BRONZE MEDAL

Our national taekwondo athlete Nafia Kuş Aydın, who represented our country in the 67 kg category, defeated Fernanda Aguirre from Chile 2-1 in the round of 16 and advanced to the quarter-finals. In this round, Nafia also defeated Rama Abo-Alrub from Jordan with the same score, and in the semi-finals, she was defeated 2-0 by Althea Laurin from the host country France and reached the bronze medal match.
