THE ROAD TO BRONZE MEDAL
Our national taekwondo athlete Nafia Kuş Aydın, who represented our country in the 67 kg category, defeated Fernanda Aguirre from Chile 2-1 in the round of 16 and advanced to the quarter-finals. In this round, Nafia also defeated Rama Abo-Alrub from Jordan with the same score, and in the semi-finals, she was defeated 2-0 by Althea Laurin from the host country France and reached the bronze medal match.
