More than 1.7 million Muslims in the holy lands for the Hajj pilgrimage performed the rite of standing at Arafat, Muzdalifah, the stoning of the devil, and the circumambulation of the Kaaba, completing their Hajj. Officials and philanthropists offered water, dates, and food along the way.

More than 1.7 million Muslims performing the Hajj pilgrimage were present in the holy lands to fulfill their religious duty.

The pilgrims who stood at Arafat for the vigil and later moved to Muzdalifah by buses prayed there, performed the vigil supplication, and collected stones for the stoning of the devil. From midnight onwards, Muslims walked in groups along an approximately 3.5-kilometer route to the stoning area at Jamarat, where they threw seven stones at the "Akaba Jamrah," representing the great devil.

After stoning the devil, Muslims walked to the Kaaba, performed the Tawaf of visitation and the Sa'y, shaved their heads, and exited the state of Ihram. Thus, the Muslims who completed their duties became Hajj pilgrims.

Some pilgrims who left the Ihram will perform the Tawaf of visitation and the Sa'y during the holiday period.

OFFICIALS AND BENEFACTORS PROVIDED HOSPITALITY

Throughout the process from the vigil at Arafat to the Kaaba, pilgrims were offered water, dates, and food along the way by both officials and benefactors.

STONING OF THE DEVIL WILL CONTINUE ON THE 2ND AND 3RD DAYS OF THE HOLIDAY

Meanwhile, pilgrims will continue stoning the devil on the second and third days of the holiday. The pilgrims, who will arrive at the Jamarat area in groups, will throw seven stones each, collected from the Muzdalifah regions, at the small, middle, and great devils in order on the second and third days of the holiday.

After stoning the devil, the pilgrims who will leave Mecca will go to the Kaaba and perform the farewell Tawaf.
