"THEY KEPT THOSE HOSPITALS OPEN WHILE DEATHS WERE KNOWN"

One in two women experiences violence in this country. 70% of women say they feel anxious while walking at night. Our youth and children are not safe. 11 female students lost their lives in Aladağ, Adana. Those who fail to build enough state dormitories are responsible for the deaths that occurred, throwing our poor children into the arms of sects and communities. This government does not solve the accommodation problem of students, knowing it. This government is one that has not built a single dormitory in Istanbul. The Mayor of Istanbul, Mr. İmamoğlu, who has built 14 clean dormitories so far, is here.

"BABIES CANNOT EVEN BE PROTECTED IN THIS COUNTRY"

This country could not protect our 8-year-old Narin. They still have not uncovered her killer. This country could not protect 2-year-old baby Sıla. When she went to the hospital, they could not make the correct diagnosis and sent her home. By the time she came back, it was too late. CHP stands firm as a whole so that Narin's do not die and Sıla babies live. We are here and we will continue to be here. Babies cannot even be protected in this country. We lost 12 newborns. While deaths were known, they kept those hospitals open. There were operations, there were detentions. There were arrests, but until the public became aware, they operated those hospitals smoothly. Whenever they threatened a prosecutor, they turned around and canceled the licenses of those hospitals. To serve as a lesson for everyone, we need to expropriate those hospitals without compensation, let’s bring this to the parliament and do it. The current Minister of Health is the former Istanbul Provincial Health Director. He should never sit in that chair. The one who appointed both the former minister and the current minister is Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

"IF KURDS SAY THEY HAVE A PROBLEM, THEN THERE IS A KURDISH PROBLEM"

Those who cannot protect this nation are the ones who betray the trust. Until we correct this government, until we abandon the practices of this government, until this country becomes a safe place for each of us, we will fight against this government. We will save this country again. This country has lost at least forty thousand lives to terrorism for 40 years. The most significant threat to the right to life is terrorism. Even while coming here, we are worried about the fact that terrorism targets civilians regardless of who they are. We have always maintained the necessary will for the establishment of social peace in this country. We have defended the equality of people living in this country as written in the constitution for years. If Kurds say they have a problem, then there is a Kurdish problem. The state does not decide whether there is a problem or not; the nation decides whether there is a problem or not. The state exists to solve that problem.

"MR. ERDOĞAN MUST END HIS SILENCE"

Our stance is clear. We will believe in the existence of this problem until Kurds say we no longer have a problem. A process should be initiated in the Parliament where everyone feels free to speak. Whoever will speak to end terrorism should be allowed to speak. But it is a wrong calculation to solve the problem by letting one person speak. We are pointing to the Parliament as the address for the solution. Mr. Devlet, Abdullah Öcalan points to the Parliament as the address. Mr. Erdoğan must end his silence. The spokesperson's duty is over. Erdoğan must come out and make a statement to this nation. Do not make Bahçeli the spokesperson, say what you have to say."
