A new move came from Özgür Özel, whose "CHP Chairman" sign hung in his parliamentary office was changed to "Group Chairman" after the court's decision on absolute nullity was sent to the Speaker's Office of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. In the press release regarding Özel's meeting with Emek Party (EMEP) Chairman Seyit Aslan at the Parliament, it was notable that he was referred to as "leader of the Republican People's Party".
WHAT HAPPENED?
Police teams entered the party building to serve the decision of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice regarding the CHP congress case and to ensure the evacuation of CHP headquarters.
Upon the Ankara Governor's instruction to the Ankara Police Department for the evacuation of CHP headquarters in line with the court decision, police teams began negotiation attempts with party members.
Police teams, who spoke with CHP Deputy Murat Emir and those accompanying him in the headquarters garden, began preparations to enter the headquarters building after waiting for a while.
Party members in the headquarters garden threw water and glass bottles at the teams who demolished the iron garden gate. Police teams intervened with pepper spray against party members in the garden and building and entered the headquarters.
After the evacuation of CHP headquarters, Özel, along with some deputies and party members, moved toward the Parliament.
ÖZEL: WE WILL EVALUATE THE PROCESS
Özgür Özel, who arrived at the Turkish Grand National Assembly, made statements regarding the upcoming process. Stating that they will receive the DEM Party delegation, Özel said they will hold meetings with deputy group chairs and MYK members.

Özel also stated that he will meet with provincial chairs and mayors, adding that they have not yet finalized their holiday program. Özel said, "We had a plan to stay at the headquarters during the holiday. We will discuss that now."
