Stating that he did not return Kılıçdaroğlu's call the previous day, when asked about whether he would meet with Kılıçdaroğlu, Özel said, "I called back to Kılıçdaroğlu, but his phone was off. If his phone is on or if he calls, we will meet."
BAHÇELİ'S STATEMENT
When asked how he evaluated MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's statement that "Kılıçdaroğlu should relinquish," Özel replied, "It is Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu who needs to make a statement on that."
"WE WILL CONTINUE TO PROTECT THE FATHER'S HOME"
Stating that he will be at Headquarters throughout the holiday, Özel said, "Our statement regarding our position in this situation is framed within the boundaries of the speech we made at the press conference last night. There is no new development. Our determination continues. We will continue to protect our headquarters, the father's home. Throughout the holiday, we will be both at our headquarters and continue our holiday greeting programs with political parties at our headquarters and the headquarters of political parties."
HARSH WORDS FOR KILIÇDAROĞLU
In his statement after the visit, Dervişoğlu said, "If in such a critical process, the first planned visit is to the President and Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, then one must think about how, why, and by whom this government has been kept in power for 25 years. The answer to this question must be correctly given by both our colleagues in the media and our colleagues on the political stage."
