The leader of the CHP, Özgür Özel, who has repeatedly stated that the minimum wage should be 30,000 lira, revealed his formula for the first time. Özel expressed that tradespeople do not have the capacity to pay a minimum wage of 30,000 lira, saying, "For those receiving the minimum wage, it is low, and for those paying it, it is high. We propose providing a social security premium support of 6,000 lira for each minimum wage employee to those who employ between 1 and 10 minimum wage workers. When it is 30 for the receiver, it will be 24,000 lira for the payer."

Everyone is curious about the minimum wage that will be implemented in 2025. While new figures about the minimum wage are being proposed every day, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel reiterated their demands for it to be 30 thousand lira.
CHP leader Özgür Özel attended a program held to commemorate the 104th anniversary of Atatürk's arrival in Bilecik and the Bilecik Interview at Bilecik Station. After the program, Özel addressed the public, reiterating the demand for a minimum wage, stating, "Our demand for the minimum wage is 30, and we will not accept anything less."
HE REVEALED THE 30 THOUSAND LIRA FORMULA
Özel stated that tradesmen do not have the capacity to pay a minimum wage of 30 thousand lira, saying: "For those who receive the minimum wage, it is low, while for those who pay, it is high. The CHP has submitted a bill. We propose to provide 6 thousand lira in social security premium support for employers who employ minimum wage workers between 1 and 10. When it is 30 for the receiver, it will be 24 thousand lira for the payer. This is the way to raise the minimum wage to 30 thousand lira without affecting tradesmen."
