CHP Group Chairman Özgür Özel was met with intense interest at the airport in Diyarbakır, where he went for various engagements. The crowd greeting him chanted slogans accompanied by drums, zurnas, and shrill cries, and as part of his program, he is expected to meet with local tradespeople, farmers, NGO representatives, and young people in the city.
CHP Group Chairman Özgür Özel, who came to Diyarbakır for various contacts, was enthusiastically welcomed by party members and citizens at Diyarbakır Airport.
GREETED WITH DRUM, ZURNA AND ZILGIT
Özel, greeted by party members on the apron, exchanged greetings with many citizens waiting for him in front of the airport. He was met with slogans like "Free Leader, Free Turkey" and "Diyarbakır is proud of you," accompanied by drum and zurna music and the zilgit cheers of women, showing intense interest.

Özel had his photo taken in front of a banner prepared by party members reading: "Keep walking without looking back because we are here. Against Amed butlana."
As part of his contacts in Diyarbakır, Özel will perform Friday prayers at the Ulu Mosque and visit shopkeepers in Suriçi. Afterwards, Özel will meet with farmers in Işıklar neighborhood of Bismil district. He will continue his engagements in the city with a meeting with representatives of civil society organizations. In the evening, Özel is expected to gather with the youth in Diyarbakır.
