In İzmir, a driver who should have stepped on the brake instead pressed the accelerator, crashing into the door of a nearby school to come to a stop. In the accident, which injured three people, including one child, the driver was taken into custody.

In the Narlıdere district of İzmir, a car that lost control broke the gate of the school's yard and entered inside. As a result of the accident, 3 people were injured. While the injured were taken to the hospital, the driver was detained by the police.

The car, driven by a person identified as S.Ç.A, whose license plate has not yet been determined, lost control and broke the gate of the private school's yard in Çatalkaya Neighborhood. At that moment, K.A.A., H.Y., and G.G.Ş., who were outside the school, were injured as a result of being hit by the vehicle. Upon the notification of the surrounding people, police and medical teams were dispatched to the accident site. While the injured were taken to nearby hospitals, the driver was detained by the police.

Meanwhile, school administrators claimed that the accident occurred because the female driver pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake, and that there were no injured teachers or students in the incident. In the meantime, the moment of the incident was recorded by the school's security camera. The footage shows the moments when the car driven by S.Ç.A, which was stopped on the street, suddenly moved, broke the school's gate, and hit the people waiting there.
