Due to the increase in cases of foot-and-mouth disease in the Pertek district of Tunceli, measures have been taken by the district governor's office. It was stated that a 30-day surveillance quarantine would be implemented due to the rise in cases observed in businesses engaged in animal husbandry in the district.
Panic over foot-and-mouth disease is being experienced in Tunceli. Following the increase in cases in the city, a series of measures were announced by the Pertek District Governorship of Tunceli.
QUARANTINE IMPLEMENTATION HAS BEGUN IN THE DISTRICT
In a statement made by the governorship, it was noted that cases of foot-and-mouth disease have increased in businesses engaged in animal husbandry in the district.
In this context, it was stated in the announcement that "A surveillance quarantine will be implemented in all villages and neighborhoods of our district for 30 days, and the entry and exit of animals has been prohibited by the District Animal Health and Control Commission."
