A passenger bus on the Istanbul-Kusadasi route overturned after veering out of control on the Kutahya-Afyonkarahisar highway. In the accident, 31 people were injured according to initial assessments, and the injured were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulances.
A passenger bus operated by M.E.G., reported to be on the Istanbul-Kusadasi route, lost control and overturned after the driver lost steering control at the 36th kilometer of the Kutahya-Afyonkarahisar highway.
TEAMS DISPATCHED TO THE REGION
Upon the accident being reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center, numerous AFAD, fire department, medical, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams initiated efforts to rescue passengers inside the bus and provide aid to the injured.
31 PEOPLE INJURED
According to preliminary assessments, 31 people were injured in the accident. After initial intervention at the scene, the injured were taken to various nearby hospitals by ambulances for treatment. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
