According to the information received, a passenger bus with license plate 34 FB 5349 belonging to Muş Yolu Turizm, whose driver's identity has not yet been determined, overturned into a ditch at the Polatdere District location on the Malatya-Adıyaman highway.
Upon the notification, police, gendarmerie, health, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the region. In the accident, according to initial determinations, 4 people died and 15 people were injured.
STATEMENT FROM THE MALATYA GOVERNOR
In his statement, Malatya Governor Seddar Yavuz reported that upon learning that a passenger bus traveling from the direction of Malatya towards Adıyaman had an accident within the borders of Doğanşehir district, under the coordination of the Governorship, police, gendarmerie, health teams, AFAD, fire brigade, and other teams rapidly arrived at the scene.
Yavuz stated in his statement, "Rescue efforts are ongoing, and information will be provided about developments later. I extend my wishes for a speedy recovery."
