Iran's Minister of Intelligence, Ismail Hatib, has been confirmed dead in an Israeli attack by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Pezeshkian stated, "The cowardly assassination resulting in the deaths of my esteemed colleagues Ismail Hatib, Ali Larijani, and Aziz Nasirzadeh, as well as some of their family members and accompanying team, has deeply saddened us."

IRAN'S MINISTER OF INTELLIGENCE KILLED Israel has increased assassinations in Iran. Following the killing of National Security High Council Secretary Ali Larijani, another critical figure was killed in an Israeli assassination. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian confirmed that the Minister of Intelligence, Ismail Hatib, was killed in an Israeli attack.

I extend my condolences to the Iranian people for the martyrdom of two cabinet members, the Secretary General of the People's Liberation Army, and military and Basij commanders. I am sure their path will continue stronger than before."
ORDER TO "TARGET" WITHOUT WAITING FOR NETANYAHU'S APPROVAL Israeli Defense Minister Katz, stating that Iranian Minister of Intelligence Hatib was killed in an airstrike conducted at night, said that together with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, they granted the Israeli army the authority to target any Iranian senior officials without needing additional approval.
Katz, who advocates the threat that no one in Iran is immune, claimed that they have "significant surprises that will escalate the war" in the attacks they will carry out today in Lebanon and Iran.
US-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN While negotiations continue between Tehran and Washington, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28. Iran responded with attacks on designated targets in some regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials, including Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, were killed. According to Iranian officials, the death toll from the US-Israel attacks exceeded 1,348, and the number of injured surpassed 17,000.
