30-year-old police officer Samet Özdemir, serving in Düzce, was found motionless in his home after his father, who couldn't reach him, reported him missing. Health teams determined during the check that the young officer had died of a heart attack. It was learned that Özdemir had been experiencing severe flu symptoms for the past 3 days. While a ceremony was held for him, his body was sent to his hometown of Zonguldak for burial.

TEAMS MOBILIZED AFTER FATHER COULDN'T REACH HIM
Samet Özdemir, a 4-year police officer serving within the Düzce Provincial Police Department, had not been heard from for a long time. His father, suspecting something was wrong, contacted his son's colleagues.
Following the report, police teams arriving at the address in the Aziziye neighborhood requested support from Düzce Municipality fire brigade teams when the door did not open.
FOUND MOTIONLESS IN HIS HOME
Teams entering the home via the balcony with the help of fire brigade crews found the 30-year-old police officer lying motionless on the floor in his room.
Medical teams called to the scene determined that Samet Özdemir had lost his life.
IT WAS LEARNED THAT HE HAD SEVERE FLU FOR 3 DAYS
Initial examinations revealed that the young police officer had died of a heart attack.
It was stated that Özdemir, who was learned to have no chronic illnesses, had been experiencing severe flu symptoms for the past 3 days.
SENT OFF TO HIS HOMETOWN ZONGULDAK
A ceremony was held at Düzce City Cemetery for the deceased Samet Özdemir. The ceremony was attended by Düzce Provincial Police Department personnel, his relatives, and loved ones.
The young police officer's body was sent to his hometown Zonguldak for burial after the ceremony.
