The European Union Council has approved a €3.5 billion aid package for the stability and reconstruction of Ukraine. The Prime Minister of Ukraine stated that this decision demonstrates Europe's strategic support.

The statement indicated that Ukraine has fulfilled the necessary conditions and reforms to receive approximately 3.5 billion Euros in funds. It was noted that the EU will support Ukraine's macro-financial stability, economic recovery, and reconstruction, and with the third payment, the country will have received about 20 billion Euros under the Ukraine Fund, which came into effect a year ago. The statement reminded that the Ukraine Fund will provide stable financing of 50 billion Euros in the form of grants and loans for the period of 2024-2027.
