President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the 8th Ordinary Provincial Congress of the AK Party in Aydın.
CRITICIZED THE OPPOSITION OVER SGK DEBTS
Speaking here, Erdoğan criticized the opposition over the debts of municipalities to the Social Security Institution (SGK). Erdoğan, who stated, "We were hopeful about Özgür Özel, we were optimistic, but we did not see a picture that was consistent with our expectations," said, "In the CHP, whoever gets up early in the morning has the say."
"THEY ROARED IN THE SQUARES ABOUT MERIT AND TURNED MUNICIPALITIES INTO A CLIENTELISTIC, RELATIVE FARM"
Part of President Erdoğan's statements on the subject is as follows: "We trust the wisdom and common sense of our esteemed nation. The winner will be the brotherhood and peace of 85 million. First the nation, then the homeland. Our purpose of existence is only this. We will never deviate from this line. While we are busy with what is happening inside and outside, you can see what the opposition is busy with. They are making promises left and right in Ankara, but they do not give their workers their rights. They roared in the squares about merit and turned the municipalities into a clientelistic, relative farm in three or four months."
"WE WERE HOPEFUL ABOUT ÖZGÜR ÖZEL, IN THE CHP, WHOEVER GETS UP EARLY IN THE MORNING HAS THE SAY"
We were hopeful about Özgür Özel, we were optimistic, but we did not see a picture that was consistent with our expectations. There has been no change in the CHP; they have not developed the habit of doing politics in line with the people. They think politics is about saying what everyone wants to hear. They speak differently in Ankara and in other places. When they go to Istanbul, they turn into a cat that has spilled milk. In the CHP, whoever gets up early in the morning has the say.
"I CONGRATULATE THEM FOR CALCULATING THEIR DEBTS IN GOLD"
They turned the party founded by Gazi Mustafa Kemal into a children's playground. They are competing with each other in absurdity. At one point, he was going from jeweler to jeweler with a calculator in hand. I had advised him to calculate how many quarters their debts to SGK were. He scribbled something and calculated his debts in tons. The debt of just 7 municipalities was 15 and a half tons of gold. I congratulate them for calculating their debts in gold as well.
