President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with Hungary's elected Prime Minister Peter Magyar. President Erdoğan emphasized during the call that he desires to further advance the enhanced strategic partnership between the two countries and that NATO alliance contributes to regional and global peace.

AGENDA: BILATERAL RELATIONS 

According to a statement from the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, the leaders discussed the future of Turkey-Hungary bilateral relations, as well as regional and global issues. 

Erdoğan stated that Turkey-Hungary relations draw their strength from a shared history and culture, and expressed his belief that cooperation between the two countries, both bilaterally and on international platforms, will be advanced further in the new era.

Erdoğan, stating his desire to advance the enhanced strategic partnership between the two countries further, emphasized that NATO alliance contributes to regional and global peace.

President Erdoğan congratulated Prime Minister Magyar on the success achieved in the elections during the call.
