A claim of poisoning caused panic after it was alleged that students who ate chicken doner from a school cafeteria in Istanbul's Ataşehir district were poisoned. Concerned parents rushed to the school, while the affected students were taken to the hospital.

It was alleged that a poisoning incident occurred at Piri Reis Middle School located in Istanbul's Ataşehir district.

According to information obtained, some students at the school in Mevlânâ Neighborhood, who were claimed to have eaten chicken döner from the school canteen, became ill after a while.

Upon reporting the situation, numerous ambulances and UMKE (National Medical Rescue Team) were dispatched to the scene. It was learned that while the first intervention for the students who fell ill was made at the school, they were later taken to nearby hospitals.
