President Erdoğan's salary increased by 55 thousand lira.

According to the presidential budget proposal for 2025 submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), the "presidential allowance" has increased by 30%. The presidential allowance allocated for 2025 has been set at 2 million 856 thousand. President Erdoğan's monthly salary will rise from 183 thousand lira to 238 thousand lira for the year 2025.

The detailed booklets belonging to the 2025 Central Government Budget Law Proposal were submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). An allocation of 16 billion 928 million 146 thousand lira was set aside from the 2025 central budget for the Presidency.

ERDOĞAN'S SALARY INCREASED BY 55 THOUSAND LIRA

In the budget proposal, 2 million 856 thousand lira was allocated to the "Presidential allowance," which includes the President's salary. Thus, President Erdoğan's salary increased from 183 thousand lira to 211 thousand lira, reflecting a 30% raise.

The "Presidential allowance" is estimated to be 3 million 142 thousand lira for 2026 and 3 million 456 thousand lira for 2027. An allocation of 255 million TL was set aside for the Presidency's "representation and promotion expenses" for the upcoming year. For transfers to "non-profit organizations," the Presidency will allocate 65 million TL, and for transfers to "households and businesses," a budget of 36 million lira was provided.

No increase was made to the President's salary in July.
