President Erdogan spoke by phone with US President Trump

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone with US President Donald Trump. During the call, which addressed bilateral relations and regional developments, Erdogan emphasized diplomacy in the US-Iran tension while noting the importance of the Makkah Agreement signed by Turkey with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia for regional stability. Erdogan also drew attention to the increase in actions by the Israeli administration targeting Palestinians during the period when the goal was to move to the second phase of the Gaza peace process.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a strategic telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump. In the meeting, which addressed Turkey-US bilateral relations as well as regional developments, Erdogan delivered important messages regarding the Iran tension, the peace process in Gaza, and the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement signed by Turkey with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
