President Erdogan, who answered journalists' questions on the plane on the way back from Kyrgyzstan, reacted to statements made by some figures from the DEM Party. Noting that those who want to infect the process may emerge, Erdogan said, 'Some individuals with a political identity may make certain intemperate statements. There may also be those who do this to infect the process. Let it be known that any discourse that does not serve social cohesion contributes to chaos and serves no other purpose.'
President Erdogan made important assessments regarding the agenda on the plane during his return journey following his contacts in Kyrgyzstan for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit. Erdogan answered questions about the dissenting statements of figures such as DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları and Sezai Temelli.
"THOSE WITH A POLITICAL IDENTITY..."
Upon being reminded of the disproportionate rhetoric coming from the DEM Party front despite the emphasis on strengthening the domestic front, President Erdogan stated, "We cannot look at the issue from a narrow perspective. We will be sincere, we will be responsible, we will be prudent. We will protect our brotherhood. We approach the issue from the widest perspective and thus focus on the goal. We cannot tolerate approaches that damage the nation's brotherhood, harm social integration, or risk reactivating the fault lines created by terrorism in the past. Some individuals with a political identity may make certain disproportionate statements. Some may do this to infect the process. Let it be known; any discourse that does not serve social integration contributes to chaos and serves no other purpose."
"WE WILL UNITE IN THE GREAT TURKEY CONSENSUS"
Stating that the society has gained resilience against such provocations, Erdogan drew attention to the goal of the "Great Turkey Consensus" and continued his words as follows: "Frankly, I think our nation has developed a resilience against such provocations. The nation has leavened this process, and the leaven has taken hold. Strengthening the domestic front is not about eliminating differences. We will strengthen the domestic front. With our differences, we will unite on the common ground of Turkey. We call this the 'Great Turkey Consensus'. We are progressing on this path knowing what we are doing to reach our destination."

In her speech at the condolence tent, Hatimoğulları, who used the expression "the geography of four parts of Kurdistan," had said, "May the Kurdish people rest in peace. They fell to the ground so that the Kurdish people could live in this geography with their heads held high. Those who fell to the ground joined the struggle saying, 'No, Kurds exist. They are the ancient people of this geography' for the Kurdish people who have been denied for centuries. As a result of this struggle that has continued for 50 years, no one can now deny the Kurds."
