Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has issued a statement regarding the ongoing peace negotiations between the US and Iran. Sharif said, "Peace has never been this close before. The US and Iran are very close to peace, and the text of the agreement is ready."

Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced that a historic stage has been reached in the peace negotiations between the US and Iran. Stating that the text of the agreement is completely ready, Sharif emphasized that the parties are closer to peace than ever before.

SHARIF: PEACE HAS NEVER BEEN THIS CLOSE

In his statement, Sharif said: "Amid Pakistan's ongoing intensive mediation efforts, we are fully aware of the endless disinformation campaign carried out by those who want to sabotage the peace agreement. Setting aside the noise, we can confirm that the final and agreed text of the peace agreement has been reached, and Pakistan is now focused on working closely with both parties to complete the next steps. Peace has never been closer than it is now."

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump claimed that they have reached a perfect agreement with Iran and that signatures will be signed on Sunday. Immediately after this claim, Trump threatened Iran with harsh language to "pull itself together."

IRAN: WE WILL EXPLAIN EVERYTHING AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME

The Tehran administration, however, firmly denied Trump's claim pointing to Sunday for signing. However, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, without completely closing the door despite the tension, stated: "A memorandum of understanding has never been this close. Until final approval, everyone should avoid speculation about the media content. We will explain everything at the appropriate time." This situation was interpreted as a serious behind-the-scenes negotiation process continuing between the two countries.

TRUMP: WE MADE A PERFECT DEAL WITH IRAN

Meanwhile, in his statement, Trump said they have reached a significant compromise with Iran, using the following words:

"We made a perfect deal with Iran. It is possible that the signatures will be signed in the coming days. We have an agreement that Iran will never possess nuclear weapons. We hope this will happen relatively quickly, but the straits will open as soon as the agreement is signed. The signing ceremony could be on Saturday or Monday. We think this will proceed quite quickly."

The US President also argued that after the signing of the agreement, the Strait of Hormuz will reopen.

TURKEY DETAIL IN THE NEGOTIATIONS

Trump stated that he continues his contacts with regional leaders in the process and announced that he has spoken with the leaders of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. Saying that he will also meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the coming days, Trump drew attention to Turkey's role in the process.

EYES TURNED TO GENEVA AND THE G7 SUMMIT

According to a Bloomberg report based on senior sources, it was claimed that a memorandum of understanding could be reached between the US and Iran before the final agreement.

According to the claim, it is planned that the said text will be signed on June 14 in Geneva, Switzerland, and then the second stage of the diplomatic process will begin. Some sources also stated that Vienna is among the options for signing.

CLEAR MESSAGE FROM IRAN: NO DECISION YET

Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency published a report based on the statements of a source close to the Iranian negotiation team.

In the report, stating that the claims that an agreement will be signed on Sunday in Geneva between Iran and the US do not reflect reality, it was noted that the claims made by US President Donald Trump and some international media outlets that "the agreement has been finalized and will be signed in Geneva on Sunday" are not true.

The report also emphasized that Iranian authorities are continuing their reviews on the related text and have not yet made a decision on the matter.

QUICK RESPONSE FROM TRUMP: IRAN SHOULD PULL ITSELF TOGETHER

Responding to Iran's statements, US President Donald Trump said, "Iran should pull itself together; the conditions leaked by Iranian media have nothing to do with what was agreed upon."

In his statement, Trump said: "The conditions leaked by Iran to the press have nothing to do with the conditions agreed upon in writing. What they say, including their weak and pathetic statements that they have made a deal, does not match reality in any way. Dealing with them is extremely humiliating. There is no such thing as making a good-faith agreement with them. Incredible!"

"Additionally, the drone attacks last night on Indian ships leaving the Strait of Hormuz, which were completely repelled, are absolutely unacceptable. They need to get their act together as soon as possible, immediately!"

14 ARTICLES OF THE AGREEMENT:

According to claims reported in the Iranian press, the articles of the 14-article agreement to be signed on the Washington-Tehran line are as follows:

Issues of Iran's missile program and support for resistance groups have been definitively removed from the agenda.
