Prof. Dr. Dönmez: Turkey will play a key role in the reconstruction of Syria.

In the studio of Haberler.com, Prof. Dr. Rasim Özgür Dönmez, who was the guest of the host Abdurrahman Yazıcı, made important statements by evaluating the political and social developments in Syria.

"RUSSIA AND IRAN ARE WEAKENING, A NEW ERA IS BEGINNING"

Prof. Dr. Dönmez stated that global developments have led to the weakening of Russia and Iran, which are the guarantor powers of the Syrian regime. Expressing that this situation paves the way for a new political order in the country, Dönmez said, "The deep state of Syria has decided on a process without Assad. Turkey played an active role in the removal of the Assad family from Syria."

"A FEDERAL GOVERNANCE MODEL IS COMING"

Emphasizing that a federal governance model will be adopted in Syria, Dönmez stated, "All actors have agreed on the federation. A tripartite federal structure will be established, and a passage from Syria to the Mediterranean will be provided through the David Corridor."

"THERE WILL BE A MIGRATION FROM SYRIA TO TURKEY"

Stating that Turkey will play an important role in the reconstruction process of Syria, Dönmez mentioned that Turkish businessmen will undertake major projects during this process. Additionally, expressing that a new wave of migration from Syria to Turkey may occur, Dönmez pointed out that Turkey may need a permanent Syrian population here.
