Deputy Minister of National Education Dr. Nazif Yılmaz was protested by those present while he was speaking at the funeral of Fatma Nur Çelik, who was stabbed to death by a student at the school where he works.

Fatma Nur Özçelik (44), who was fatally attacked with a knife by F.S.B. (17), a student of Çekmeköy Borsa İstanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, was bid farewell to her final journey today in a ceremony held at the school where she worked, amidst tears.

In the face of the horror that occurred, hundreds of teachers and citizens protested for a long time with the slogan "We do not want to die at school," while Dr. Nazif Yılmaz, the Deputy Minister of National Education, who attended the ceremony representing Yusuf Tekin, was also protested with applause by those present while he was giving a speech.
