Following the detection of foot-and-mouth disease in the Hacıköseler neighborhood of Aydın's Yenipazar district, quarantine measures were implemented in a total of 17 neighborhoods across the Yenipazar and Çine districts. During this period, animal movements were halted and field studies began.
Quarantine measures have been taken in a total of 17 neighborhoods across two districts, including some neighborhoods in the Cine district, following the detection of foot-and-mouth disease in a neighborhood in the Yenipazar district of Aydın.
QUARANTINE MEASURES IMPLEMENTED
New measures have been implemented due to the foot-and-mouth disease detected in the Hacıköseler neighborhood of the Yenipazar district. Quarantine measures have been initiated in the neighborhood where the disease was found and in nearby locations: Karacaören, Paşaköy, Çavdar, Eğridere, Koyunlar, Alioğulları, and Karaçakal neighborhoods, as well as in the Cine district: İbrahimkavağı, Bağlarbaşı, Bereket, Çatak, Sarnış, Subaşı, Elderesi, Kavşit, and Kırkışık neighborhoods.
ANIMAL MOVEMENTS SUSPENDED
Animal movements in these neighborhoods have been suspended until the quarantine decision ends. Within this framework, it was reported that animal entry, exit, and trade have been banned in the aforementioned 17 neighborhoods.
Teams from the Yenipazar District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry continue field work to prevent the spread of the disease.
