Brazilian footballer Rafinha announced that he has retired from football at the age of 32 due to the chronic nature of his knee injury. Rafinha, who was developed in Barcelona's youth academy, has played for Inter, PSG, and Al-Arabi during his career.

INJURIES LED TO THE DECISION
The Brazilian player announced his decision to retire from football. Rafinha, who has struggled with serious injuries throughout his career, stated that he made this decision primarily due to problems with his knee. The experienced player suffered a meniscus injury in 2017, an anterior cruciate ligament injury in 2018, and a knee injury in 2021, and recently reached the point of retiring due to the chronic nature of his knee issues.
FROM BARCELONA YOUTH TO EUROPEAN GIANTS
Rafinha started his football career in the Barcelona youth academy and played for several major clubs throughout his career. The Brazilian midfielder played on loan at Inter and also had a stint at Paris Saint-Germain. After his European career, Rafinha continued his journey in the Middle East, most recently playing for Al-Arabi in the Qatari League.
