Hakan Aydın, known as Blok3, and his producer Maruf Yöntürk are facing up to 25 years in prison for multiple charges, including "attempted armed robbery."
The incident that shook the music industry was brought to court following the complaint of manager Ferhat Karagöz. The prosecution prepared a comprehensive indictment against the rapper Hakan Aydın, known by the stage name Blok3, and producer Maruf Yöntürk. The allegations in the indictment caused a significant stir in the music world.
FIRST ASSAULT THEN ARMED THREAT
In his statement, Karagöz explained that he went to an address in Kağıthane, Istanbul, upon the call of Maruf Yöntürk, and that the argument that broke out there quickly escalated into violence. According to the allegation, Yöntürk attacked Karagöz with a fist and a billiard cue. Karagöz claimed that during the attack, he was threatened with the words "I won't let you live" and that he was demanded to pay 850,000 TL while a gun was held to his head.
BLOK3 WAS ALSO INVOLVED IN THE INCIDENT
According to the complaint, Blok3, who arrived at the venue during the incident, also got involved in the argument. Karagöz claimed that Aydın punched him.
UP TO 25 YEARS IN PRISON IS SOUGHT
According to journalist Emrullah Erdinç, the prosecution's indictment included charges against the defendants for "depriving a person of their liberty by means of a weapon and coercion," "attempted armed robbery at night," "threat," "damage to property," and "intentional injury." The indictment requested a prison sentence of 12 years and 4 months to 25 years for the defendants.
REQUEST FOR DETENTION AND FILE SEPARATION DETAIL
The prosecution requested that Maruf Yöntürk be tried in detention. For Hakan Aydın, it was requested that the file be separated regarding the charge of "simple injury." How the judicial process will progress has become a matter of curiosity.
