LARGE-SCALE OPERATION IN 21 PROVINCES
As part of the investigation coordinated by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, police teams conducted an operation targeting illegal betting, money laundering, bribery, and qualified fraud in 21 provinces centered in Adana.
Within the scope of the investigation, detention orders were issued for 200 people, including Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı. During the operation, 128 suspects were taken into custody.
HE TRIED TO HIDE THE HANDCUFFS
Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, who was detained at his home in Istanbul, was brought to Adana by road. Images of Kütahyalı, who underwent a health check at the Adana Forensic Medicine Unit, trying to hide the handcuffs on his wrists with his jacket drew attention. In the moments captured on camera, Kütahyalı appeared to be quite calm.
"THERE IS A MISUNDERSTANDING"
Responding to questions from the press during the health check, Kütahyalı said, "I'm fine, dad, there's no such activity on my part. There is a misunderstanding. We'll find out, there is a misunderstanding."
After the health procedures, Kütahyalı and two others with him were taken to the police station.
STRIKING CLAIMS IN THE MASAK REPORT
According to journalist Emrullah Erdinç's report, a financial analysis was conducted on 11 individuals deemed "suspects" and considered "cash accounts" in the investigation file.
In the MASAK review, it was alleged that a total of 16,141,893 TL was deposited into Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı's bank account between 2022 and 2024. It was claimed that 1,472,582 TL was withdrawn from the account during the same period.
Additionally, examinations through electronic payment institutions indicated that a total of 35,201,344 TL was deposited into Kütahyalı's account via different companies.
INVESTIGATION CONTINUES
It was learned that the investigation conducted by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is continuing in multiple directions.
