A new statement has come in the dispute that began in the family of Kadir İnanır, a master of Turkish cinema, over his will. The artist's niece Gül Bakar opposed the claims put forward by Levent İnanır regarding the process of preparing the will and expressed support for İnanır's life partner Jülide Kural. Stating that she closely witnessed İnanır's illness process for three years, Bakar emphasized the love and devotion shown by Kural and reacted to the family disagreement being brought to public attention.
A new statement has come in the family dispute that began over the will of Kadir İnanır, one of the unforgettable names of Turkish cinema. Gül Bakar, daughter of İnanır's sister Elmas Bakar, opposed the claims brought to public attention by Levent İnanır and expressed support for the artist's life partner, Jülide Kural.

Gül Bakar, who recounted that she accompanied Kadir İnanır during the period when he experienced health problems, stated that she closely witnessed the attention and care Jülide Kural showed the artist.
Bakar used the following statements in her explanation: “During my uncle Kadir's illness, without pursuing any personal benefit or interest, I was by his side together with his life partner Jülide Kural for 3 years. I am one of the close witnesses to this process. I am a firsthand witness to the care, love, and sacrifice Jülide Kural showed Kadir İnanır. The hospital staff, doctors, nurses, caregivers, his driver, and close friends are also witnesses to this process.”

Bakar, stating that she was disturbed by the family dispute being brought into the public eye, claimed that some family members made statements in order to stay on the agenda.
Arguing that the claims raised by Levent İnanır were published without being sufficiently investigated, Bakar expressed her reaction with these words: “I do not accept the attempt to cast a shadow over the reputation, personality, and memory that Kadir İnanır built stitch by stitch throughout his life with unfounded claims. Moreover, the fact that all these claims are being voiced after a person who no longer has the opportunity to defend himself is also thought-provoking.”
Emphasizing that Kadir İnanır defended justice and human dignity throughout his life, Bakar opposed the artist being remembered with inheritance disputes after his death.
WHAT HAD HE SAID?
Levent İnanır, Kadir İnanır's nephew, had previously claimed in his statements that he had doubts about whether the artist's will was prepared by his own free will.
Levent İnanır, who claimed that during the period when İnanır experienced health problems, he said to him in the hospital, “My power of attorney is with you,” had expressed his doubts about the will process with the words “There is something behind this.”
