11.09.2024 12:40

In Aksaray, a driver who had previously had his license revoked for driving under the influence, was caught by the police this time driving under the influence and without a license. The driver, who refused to blow into the breathalyzer, reacted to the press trying to film him, saying, "What did I do? I didn't do anything, am I a terrorist? My brother and father are in prison, I had problems so I drank. Should I lie?"

The driver, whose license was confiscated for driving under the influence in Aksaray, was caught by the police for the second time, this time driving under the influence and without a license. The driver, who claimed to be drunk but refused to blow into the breathalyzer, also reacted to the press members who wanted to film him, saying, "Am I a terrorist?" According to the information obtained, the incident occurred when the patrol officers of the Provincial Police Department Security Branch, who were on routine patrol in Fatih Neighborhood, suspected the car with the license plate number 68 ACV 364. It was revealed that the driver named O.B., who was subjected to a license and registration check, had his license confiscated for driving under the influence some time ago.

'WHAT DID I DO, AM I A TERRORIST?'

O.B., who does not have a license, admitted that he was drunk and said, "I don't have a license, I already had it taken away." While the police officer who wanted to measure the driver's alcohol level extended the breathalyzer to him, the driver, who claimed to be drunk, also refused to blow into the breathalyzer. When he realized that he was being filmed by journalists, the driver sat on the ground and drank water, then stood up and said, "What did I do? I didn't do anything, am I a terrorist? My brother and father are in prison, I had problems and I drank. Should I lie? I'm really in a difficult situation." The driver, who was persistently offered the breathalyzer by the police, replied, "I won't blow, brother, let it be bad, I won't blow. I don't even have a license. I already had it taken away."

A FINE OF 31,429 TL WAS IMPOSED

The driver was fined a total of 31,429 TL for driving without a license and under the influence, and his license, which was confiscated for 6 months before, was confiscated for 2 years this time. The individual was taken to the police station to give a statement.
