Kütahya Governor Musa Işın, stating that factories are operating at reduced capacity due to the inability to find workers, said, "Those who say they can't find a job should come to Kütahya, we will find jobs for all of them. One of our factories brought 210 workers from India. They couldn't find workers here."
Kütahya Governor Musa Işın announced that the factories that have started production in the Zafer Organized Industrial Zone have not reached sufficient workforce. Işın stated that the facilities could not operate at full capacity due to a labor shortage and expressed that some companies found the solution in bringing workers from abroad.
"ONE OF OUR FACTORIES BROUGHT WORKERS FROM INDIA"
Governor Işın reported that expansion areas have also been created in the organized industrial zones in the center and provided striking examples regarding the labor force issue. Işın said, "One of our companies went to India to find workers and brought back 210 workers. Another one of our factories also brought workers from India. Another company sourced workers from Venezuela."
"UNFORTUNATELY, OUR CITIZENS DO NOT LIKE JOBS"
Governor Işın argued that the local workforce is not interested in blue-collar jobs, stating, "Unfortunately, our citizens here do not want to work, they do not like the jobs offered. They do not want to work as blue-collar workers; they want to be white-collar. Civil service or office jobs are preferred. We cannot find workers suitable for the job or jobs suitable for the workers. In this situation, companies are inevitably forced to bring in labor from outside."
"SAYING 'I CAN'T FIND A JOB...'"
"Today, we need 20,000 people here. Those who say 'I can't find a job' should come to Kütahya, we will find jobs for all of them," said Işın, emphasizing that there is a serious need for employment in the city and that industrialists are continuing their search for personnel.
