The defense industry sector aims to break an export record in 2024. In line with this goal, various strategies have been determined and are planned for implementation. The sector, which aims to set a record, seeks to make a significant contribution to the national economy as a result.

The President of the Defense Industry, Haluk Görgün, announced that the defense and aerospace industry achieved significant success in exports in 2024. Görgün stated that the sector's export revenue, including NATO and service exports, reached 7 billion 154 million dollars with a 29% increase, surpassing the 2024 targets by 11%.

RECORD SUCCESS AND GLOBAL IMPACT

In his statement, Haluk Görgün emphasized that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the defense industry has increased its impact on the world stage, stating:

He mentioned that Turkey's name has been strongly announced in the international arena with exports to 180 different countries.

He noted that defense industry companies have reached the capacity to export not only to a specific region but globally.
