A SIGNING THAT WENT DOWN IN CLUB HISTORY
Premier League team Fulham has officially announced that they have added Real Madrid's young striker Gonzalo Garcia to their squad. The 22-year-old center-forward signed a 5-year contract valid until the summer of 2031, for a transfer fee of 40 million euros, 2 million euros in bonuses, and a 30 percent share of any future sale to Real Madrid. With this transfer fee, the striker thus became the most expensive signing in the club's history.
"I'M VERY EXCITED"
Speaking to Fulham TV after signing, Garcia said, "I am very grateful and very happy to be here. I want to thank the management and Arbeloa for the trust they have shown in me. I am really very excited and I want to get started as soon as possible."
