Two names became the targets of fans who refused to accept the derby defeat. The large crowd, calling for President Sadettin Saran and Technical Director Domenico Tedesco to resign, expressed their reactions by chanting slogans like "Management resign" and "Tedesco resign."
EXTENSIVE SECURITY MEASURES FROM THE POLICE
To prevent the escalation of events, the Istanbul Police Department also went on alert. Police forces erected barriers around the facility and took extensive security measures with riot control units. The roads leading to the facility entrance were blocked with barriers, and fans were not allowed to approach the main entrance gate.
