POSTPONEMENT REQUEST FROM 3 CLUBS
All three clubs are preparing to convey their postponement requests to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) due to the congestion between their league and European fixtures. The clubs, prioritizing success in Europe due to the intense match tempo, will request the postponement of the Fenerbahce - Konyaspor, Corendon Alanyaspor - Besiktas, and Trabzonspor - RAMS Basaksehir matches scheduled to be played in the 2nd week of the Super Lig. It is anticipated that the applications will be officially submitted to the TFF by Tuesday.
PLAY-OFF EXCITEMENT IN EUROPE
Fenerbahce will face France's Olympique Lyon on August 18 in the UEFA Champions League play-off round. Besiktas will compete against Lithuanian representative Kauno Zalgiris on August 20 in the UEFA Europa League play-off round. Trabzonspor will face Hungarian team Ferencvaros on August 20 in the UEFA Europa League play-off round.
EYES ON TFF
Following the clubs' official applications, all eyes will turn to the Turkish Football Federation. If the TFF approves the requests, the new dates for the postponed matches on the calendar will be announced to the public by the federation.
