Former Gaziantep FK executive İskender Kaplan denied claims that he would provide €1 million in financial support for Mohamed Salah's transfer to Beşiktaş.
In the past seasons, İskender Kaplan, a famous carpet manufacturer and businessman from Gaziantep who served on the board of Gaziantep FK, allegedly provided 1 million Euros in financial support for the transfer of Egyptian star Muhammed Salah to Beşiktaş, which hit the agenda like a bombshell and excited the fans.
RESPONSE TO SPONSORSHIP CLAIMS
Following the allegations raised by Levent Ümit Erol, İskender Kaplan, who faced backlash from Gaziantep fans, denied the claims, stating that these reports do not reflect the truth.
BEŞİKTAŞ'S OFFER ON THE TABLE
On the Beşiktaş front, transfer negotiations continue at full speed. The black-and-whites have reached a preliminary agreement with the player, but official signatures have not been made due to additional financial demands presented by his agent at the last minute. President Serdal Adalı clearly stated that the prepared 12 million Euro package offer will not be exceeded and financial limits will not be strained. With the conditions being accepted, Salah's agent team is preparing to come to Istanbul again, and the critical meeting expected to take place today is anticipated to determine the fate of the transfer.
