A private boat sank off the coast of Didim, Aydın, after a fire broke out in the engine room. Two people who jumped from the boat were rescued by Coast Guard teams.
Two people who jumped into the sea after a fire broke out on a private boat in the Didim district of Aydın were rescued.
RESCUED AT THE LAST MOMENT
A fire of unknown origin erupted in the engine room of a private yacht cruising approximately 4 nautical miles off the coast of Çamlık Neighborhood. Upon receiving information that E.E. (40) and A.Ç. (26) on the boat had jumped into the sea, Coast Guard teams were dispatched to the area.
The two individuals, stranded in the sea with life jackets, were rescued by the intervention of the teams.
