After the claim that the municipal press officer was not allowed into the ceremony area during the April 23 celebrations in Ankara, Ayaş District Governor Muharrem Eligül, against whom the governorship launched an investigation due to his subsequent post, has sparked reaction with a new post this time. Eligül responded to CHP Ankara Deputy Umut Akdoğan, who criticized him, on social media by saying 'Shut up.'

District Governor Muharrem Eligül, who came to the agenda with a protocol crisis during the April 23 celebrations in Ankara's Ayaş district, ignited a new controversy with his response to CHP Ankara Deputy Umut Akdoğan, who criticized him.

"SHUT UP"

Eligül, responding harshly to the deputy's criticisms on social media, used the phrase "Shut up" towards Akdoğan. Eligül became the focus of reactions.

Following the claim that the municipal press officer was not allowed into the ceremony area by the District Governorate during the April 23 celebrations in Ankara's Ayaş, District Governor Muharrem Eligül published a message starting with "Bismillahirrahmanirrahim" in both Turkish and Arabic. Eligül deleted the message shortly after.

"MY GOD, WHAT SIN DID I COMMIT THAT..."

In the deleted post, Eligül used the following statements: "Entering the tomb of our ancestor Fatih Sultan Mehmet Han, who attained the glad tidings of our Prophet, with rudeness and kicking his sarcophagus is in the nature and character of those whose spiritual roots are outside. The attacks on me by dark circles are, thank God, an indication that I am on the right path. Otherwise, I would wonder, 'My God, what sin did I commit that these people harbor affection for me?' May the mercy and peace of Almighty God be upon you."

GOVERNORSHIP: NECESSARY INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

In a statement from the Governorship, the following expressions were included: "A necessary investigation has been initiated by our Governorship regarding the statement made by the District Governorate via social media concerning an issue that occurred during the April 23 celebration programs in our Ayaş district. Announced to the public with respect."
