As tensions between the US and Iran continue, Iranian Army Commander Amir Hatami announced a reward of $30,000 for those who kill or capture American soldiers. Hatami said that weapons used in attacks would also be purchased for twice their value and displayed in a museum. Hatami also noted that if the Iranian citizen who neutralizes or captures American soldiers is a woman, the reward amount would be increased.
While the crisis between the US and Iran continues, a striking statement came from the Iranian army.
$30,000 FOR KILLING US SOLDIERS
Iranian Army Commander Amir Hatami announced at an event that Iranian citizens who neutralize or capture US soldiers will be given a cash reward equivalent to $30,000. The Iranian commander stated that the practice was prepared due to "intense demand to participate in the financial struggle," saying, "Whoever kills or captures and hands over an aggressive American soldier will receive a reward of $30,000 from the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army."
DOUBLE REWARD FOR WOMEN
Hatami said that if the Iranian citizen who neutralizes or captures US soldiers is a woman, they will increase the reward amount. The Iranian commander said, "Brave Iranian women who carry out this act will be given twice the reward."
THE WEAPON USED WILL BE PLACED IN A MUSEUM
Hatami noted that if an Iranian citizen kills any US soldier with a weapon, the weapon used will be purchased for twice its value and the person in question will be given a new weapon. Hatami also said the weapon used in killing the US soldier will be displayed in a museum.
Hatami also reiterated Iran's calls for the US to leave the region.
