An investigation into rape has been launched against Cape Verde captain Ryan Mendes, who plays for TFF 1. Lig team Iğdır FK. INVESTIGATION CONFIRMED
New Zealand Police confirmed that an investigation is ongoing into a sexual assault report registered in Auckland on April 10, although they did not officially disclose the suspect's name due to the country's privacy laws. It was learned that teams have collected security camera footage from the hotel and are awaiting the finalization of forensic reports.
APPLICATION MADE TO FIFA
It was stated that the victim and her spouse filed official applications to both FIFA and the Cape Verde Football Federation in May, requesting that Ryan Mendes be prevented from playing in the World Cup.
