It has been announced that Deniz Efe, the legendary thoroughbred of the horse racing community who was injured in the 64th Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) Race, has ended his racing career and will continue his life as a stallion.
Bad news came from the legendary thoroughbred Deniz Efe, who left his mark on the last years of Turkish horse racing and became a favorite of racegoers with his speed and character.
COULD NOT CONTINUE THE RACE HE STARTED WELL
In the prestigious 64th TBMM Race held at the Ankara 75th Year Hippodrome, Deniz Efe, who started with his usual assertive pace, experienced a loss of action at a critical point of the competition. The champion, who could not complete the race, left the hippodrome in a horse transport vehicle, and his final condition was determined after initial checks.
DENIZ EFE'S RACING CAREER HAS ENDED
During the checks on Deniz Efe, a fracture was detected in the right front fetlock area. The successful thoroughbred's leg was casted and he was referred to Istanbul for advanced treatment and surgery. Thus, the legendary thoroughbred bid farewell to the tracks due to the injury he sustained.
